The LD-30K emits a full 54 joules per cm squared fluence at 808 nanometer wavelength. It has a pulse duration of 0.1 seconds and a pulse frequency which is adjustable from 1-10 times a second.
This is a great starter unit for a small salon that performs bikini, facial and full body epilation procedures but not tattoo removal or general dermatology. For those procedures you will require a minimum of 130 jcm2 (please refer to the LD50K and LD80K units).
Maximum intensity output is twice what is recommended for epilation procedures (Fitzpatrick skin types 2-5). Surface epilation (also know as laser shaving) is possible on blond and grey hair with the aid of carbon dye (included in kit).
The effective diameter of the emission is 2cm wide and has the sensation of a brief pinch. The LD-30K Salon Use Photo Epilation System has a very light, durable and comfortable hand-piece instrument. A powerful internal micro fan cools the laser diode very effectively which increases the overall performance and life of the device.
